Halloween Craft Challenge: Oct. 4
Skully Fashionista Dolls…first one in the series.

These little skeletons were screaming for clothes, they felt bare and exposed. What poor skeleton doesn’t want a new dress, they are just dying for fashion…ha ha I kid, I kid.

Supplies: Ribbon, Skeleton Parachuters – 2.99 @ Safeway, Glue, Sequins, Needle, Thread
Instructions:
Cut off their parachute and cut the loop off their head. It comes off really easy, the plastic is pretty soft.
Then thread a needle with matching thread to the ribbon. Knot your thread at the end and begin loosely stitching back and forth through the top of the ribbon. Keep it loose because you’ll pull on edge to make the gathered effect of a skirt. I used stiff ribbon here and wouldn’t recommend doing so, I ended up stitching the gap in the back because it was so stiff, so look for a softer ribbon.

Pull the end of the thread so it looks gathered and slip the ribbon around your skeleton’s waist…or what’s left of a waist. Muah ha ha. Sew together in the back.
Add a bit of glue to the back of the sequins and slap ‘em on as eyes. Ta da your skeleton is runway ready. Rachel Zoe would scream “I die, I die.” for their new deadly look.
